With one of the largest hydraulic tree spades in the Edmonton area, More Trees Please is able to move many large and mature trees of various types and ages with few risks or concerns. The majority of the time our moving process begins by digging and 'basketing' the largest possible root ball in burlap to protect the roots of the tree during transport.
Tree health and survival is our main priority. Although watering before transport causes a heavier root ball, this step also causes less stress to the tree during transportation.
More Trees Please can move any number of trees - whether it is 50 trees for a golf course or residential property development or one member of the family's grade one tree - we are happy to help you transport your trees.
If a tree is to be moved but the future site is not ready, trees can be 'basketed' in the fall for future moving or sale throughout the next season. With 5 different sizes of baskets ranging from 32" - 48" More Trees Please is able to address various types and sizes of trees.
